Winston Salem Journal The Winston Salem Journal project was an industrial project consisting of a 12,800 sq. ft. press room addition with an exterior grounding grid attached to building steel. The project had (2) new 1,200 amp 480/277 volt services to serve the new printing press equipment. SPE provided a turn key electrical installation for two new printing press including all drive connections, crane connections along with all low voltage controls to control centers for press operation. SPE provided all connections and control wiring to associated equipment to new platemaking room which housed the print setting and digital format equipment to communicate what print went to the new press equipment. All new LED lights and lighting controls were also installed.
